My name’s Tom Fischer, and I’m admittedly a Titanic addict. I’ve read every book ever written, seen every movie produced and have rummaged through my extensive collection of survivor stories and newspaper clippings hundreds of times. I used to think that I knew everything there was to know about the “unsinkable” ship and the circumstances that led to its tragic fate. I was so confident in my vast knowledge that I started my blog here @ www.realtitanicstories.com.

My confidence was shaken to the core when I met a woman named Clarice Smythe in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the final resting place of 121 victims of the sinking. Clarice said that she needed to tell the one story that had never been made public, the story of a vampire on the Titanic and a murder that started the downward spiral that sealed the fate of the victims.

You can read the story that Clarice told me in the novel – Titanic: The Unsinkable Vampire.
